Biophysics
Biophysics studies life at every level, from atoms and molecules to cells, organisms, and environments using the principles of maths and physics to describe and predict patterns that are seen in biology. These might include imaging techniques to visualise the organism at the molecular level, or developing model systems to investigate the interaction of molecules. Biophysics revealed the structure of DNA, how atoms are arranged to work in DNA and are finding how proteins work.
